In the earlier years, Gil has been a partner in a successful real-estate office in Tel-Aviv Israel, Later, and over the last 17 years, Gil purchased, managed, sold and rented residential apartments, commercial building and land for residential housing in Miami (Florida), Jersey City (New Jersey), New York City and Upstate New York. Gil resides, together with his wife, and two children, in Hudson Heights, an Upper Manhattan neighborhood for the last 13 years.
